homemade brown bread by doves farm

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g FREEE Brown Bread Flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 tsp Yeast

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 350ml milk

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • 2 eggs

  • 6 tbsp oil

·         Brush the inside of 1kg/2lb bread tin with a little oil.

·         Put the flour, salt, yeast and sugar into a large bowl and stir to combine.

·         Break the eggs into another bowl and beat them together. Beat in the milk and vinegar.

·         Stir the milky liquid into the prepared flour.

·         Add half the oil and mix well.

·         Pour the remaining oil over the dough and use it to bring together a soft doughy mass. 

·         Tip the dough in the prepared tin and smooth the top.

·         Cover with oiled cling film and leave to rise in a warm place for 90 minutes and pre-heat the oven
